SVR Seats question

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if the SVR Seats ever came with full climate functions (cooling as well as heating) and if they ever had massage as an option?

Do these seats adjust as much as the standard AB Seats such as side bolsters etc?

I know they look lovely but I’m not sure if fixed back, fixed head rest Seats are as comfy as adjustable versions. L319 D4 HSE

Pre MY18 cars only had heated seats but the side bolsters did adjust to keep you in the seat.

On the MY18 onwards the seats can be cooled and heated but no massage and no side bolster movement.

Cooled seats dont really work in my opinion on this brand ive had it before and found them very poor.
Have used the massage seats in a Range Rover and again not that good both my opinions of coarse.

We have heated and cooled on our MY17 Discovery, we find the cooled works well but it seems to affect the heat up time - heat up on my MY18 SVR is very quick and I don't have cooled option

Where seats are full climate they run on fans, just heated works via elements which are very quick (better in my opinion) L319 D4 HSE

Cooling is an option which I have and tried in our mini ‘heat wave’ just for the hell of it, but thought it worked really well, you can hear the fan pushing the cool air con air around. In heat mode standard heating elements work and very quickly as well. No massage function, and probably not as adjustable as standard non SVR spec but more than happy with the compromise, no fancy auto bolsters either but these are super comfy seats. Mine is a 2019 SVR FYI

I drove an AB and an SVR for the first time last week. Both seat styles seemed to provide the same level of comfort despite the SVR seats appearing more minimal. The cooling functions were equal amd the passenger cooling worked better in both models. I’m curious if anyone has long term opinions of the AB seats vs SVR.

I find this too that the heating and cooling works better in the passenger seat! Wonder why this is. Rolling Eyes 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR arrived but now rejected!

I’ve added the cooled front seats option after reading this thread.

Thanks 👍🏻

I actually find both the seats and the ride more comfortable in the SVR (MY19.5) than my previous AB.
The only issue I have is that the cooling seats in mine don’t really seem to get cold, especially in the back support.

I can hear the fan come on for both, but it doesn’t seem to get cold. This worked well ON my previous AB. Not sure if it is a fault. Anyone have a similar experience? Range Rover Sport SVR - Santorini Black

Mine isn't as impressive as I thought as well for the cooling side of things, even on maximum, better than nothing though, just...
