(POLL) need opinions please

So I got the RRS with the grey 22 inch wheels but they are a bit shabby and are in need of a refurb so I got hold of a cheap set of Disco 3 wheels which are in really good condition and all 4 tyres are pretty much new, just while I get the 22's refurbed

Now im in two minds leave the 18's on or continue with the refurb of the 22's and change them to satin black.

My wife likes the silver 18's, says they look classy but I like the drug dealer look of the 22's

Which ones?

The two poll options are at the top of the page, please click one, thanks

I too like the, uh, drug dealer look (funny story about what we found in the car after we bought it there...), but I think 20s are the sweet spot - the 22s look too big.

I know, they should end up the same size as the tyres get bigger/smaller to accommodate, but visually somehow those 22s look _huge_ while the 18s look teeny tiny.

So er .. neither? Laughing 2014 BMW 530d Touring, 2006 BMW 650i, 2018 Mini Cooper S

I vote 22s but you have to put up with a harsher ride... Robin

I'd keep both sets. 18s for winter or off road, 22s for summer.

I'm not a fan of dark wheels so I'd get them redone in silver, but that's just personal taste. Kev

As above, not keen on the 22s and I’m not a fan of the dark wheels that are fashionable at the mo. Those 18s look tiny but it will have a very soft ride Thumbs Up . If it were me I’d have 20s for the summer and 19s for winter or a suitable tyre for all year on either one of the sizes.

18’s with grabber A/T3’s in a 55 or even a 60 profile, much better ride quality and an all year round tyre. Also last far longer than rubber bands!!.. Thumbs Up Current: 2010 RRS 3.6 TDV8 HSE

Hi,
of the 2 choices I would go 18" in silver

BUT

my preferred choice would be 255/55/19" in Anthracite Laughing

Smaller is classier. 22” are trying way too hard, makes it a bit of a sad look to my eyes, I’m afraid. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

Thanks for all your input guys, ive taken it all on board

I have decided to keep the 18's and sell the 22's and later invest in a set of 20's

Appreciate all your help and your voting
