Having a look around before fitting new Rear Brake Backplates and not to sure if the Handbrake cables will come out of the old Backplates any tips apart from lots of WD40.

If the worst happens I have noticed you can buy the cables separate now ,Can these be replaced with the Handbrake module in place or does it also have to be removed.

Also does the Module need to be set to any special position by say a Diagnostic tool or is it fine in the off position with say the fuse removed.
