United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Drivers seat cushion stuck in the highest.

Car is 2011. Drivers side seat cushion

Cushion should move up and down. Passenger does. When you push the button the seat module underneath the seat just clicks. Every other function works except this one.

I assume its the seat module that's gone and does it need recoding to the car before I buy another?

Cheers

England 2012 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Fuji White

Before you go down that route, remove the cushion (4 Torx screws) and check all connections and wire condition. I have (not on my current car) had an actuator go into a geometric lock on a regular basis. If I sat in it to adjust, it would lock in the most upper position. To unlock it I’d get out and operate the switch from outside the vehicle. 2012 5.0 SC AB
