BT replacing the Ipod connection in AH2219C166AA

Hi,

The purpose of this tweak is to connect the BT to the Ipod interface in such that if I select the Ipod interface, I turn on the BT module and inject the BT audio via the Ipod feed.

I embedded a BT pcb inside this housing and now need to connect this to the right pins/wires. That is were the problem starts: GND/5v are not difficult to find, but the pin layout of the AH22 surely is.

I found already cable 3770/3771 (C3770) should lead to the AH2219. But ... I can't find the wiring in the LR Electrical Wiring Diagrams 2010 for my RRS. I don't expect that there is a PCB/schematic design for this module, but if available Thumbs Up

Looking for both module pin layout but also the Ipod connector pin layout

Do you have the original iPod connector cable? If so, look at pins 2 (audio GND), 5 & 6 (right & left audio) and 23 (+5V).. bell the cable out and see if they correspond to 2, 5, 6 and 23 on the car side if the car has 30 pins, otherwise that should let you map iPod to car and figure out where you need to inject signals Thumbs Up

(With the iPod male connector facing you, contacts on the bottom, 1 is on the left and 30 on the right)

If you haven't got the cable, I can bell mine out for you

Just checked with your info the Ipod connector which has pin 1,2, 19 & 20 marked if you look in the front of the 20 pins connector (not 30 btw). And of course I didn't find the pin layout of these 20 pins.... unless lauput below is the one. Note: The connector numbering seems to be different
