Recommendations: Independent garage in Manchester UK please?

Hi,

I have a problem with my dynamic response system (leak at the rear with occasional (and random) warning light). My current garage has said that there are no fault codes stored.... They would do an investigation but I'd rather get a second opinion / T4 read.

So, can anyone recommend a good independent garage in the Manchester area?

I have recently used this place for a wheel bearing.
However, when I spoke to him about other servicing topics, he seemed to show enough knowledge from past experiences.

I'll use them again.

2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

I would NOT recommend A1 4x4 in Bury, my cars previous owner spent £1000's at this place for which I'm grateful for but some of this work should have been referred back to JLR For example a recall job on the brake servo issue wasn't completed correctly by JLR but A1 charged the owner again to re-do the job, WHICH SUBSEQUENTLY FAILED FOR ME.
A1 turned down this £850 job on my car because I'd previously forgotten an appointment for a diagnostic check, costing him a lot apparently. My daughter suffering a brain tumour may have distracted me somewhat from mundane appointments at the time.

A1 4x4 Bury AVOID

Has anyone used the Stockport Branch? (It's much closer to me). From google maps it looks a bit of a dive but it's all down to how good the people are I guess. Any experience anyone?

I've used them for parts for both mine and my father in law's mk1 disco for nearly 20 years, very helpful and knowledgable. I was going to have them do the engine flush once but went with Bodsy in the end simply because he was a little cheaper. I wouldn't have any issues using them
