Vogue tailgate problem

Just bought vogue 2015 autobiography

Very nice. The problem i have the tailgate opens fine via remote control. When clossing via remote it does not close. When i press the button on the lower tailgate it does not close i have to manually close it and then press the upper tailgate button which auto closes

Any pointers i can look at
