England 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Baltic Blue
Handbrake fault

Had the handbrake fixed...new cogs, hubs and pads...all working fine. Dash displays check pads and park brake fault. On the OBD the fault comes up as CA155 ignition switch.
Any ideas please.

computer says parking brake problem

basically the rear breaks are seized

he had the console off and tried to manually release but unsuccessfull

hes had a crazy week over there as his son who is 18 went missing for 5 days with no passport mobile or money and was picked up put into a hospital and escaped several hours later
to cut the story short this find and lost again happened several times

after driving from england to france twice over several days and on no sleep for three the car breaks down after being reunited with his son

crazy story i know but this is where we are at as a family

he also needs to sort out his sons passport problem so you can only imagine what he is going through right now

If nothing else works - Wheels and brake discs off and disengage.

a lesson to do some preventive maintenance
