What is the future for Range Rover ?

Interesting copy from an Australian Newspaper. Can Land Rover survive a slowing world market?

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Can't read the article but to answer the question posed in the OP, yes they can survive a slowing market but they need to focus on the lower end of their price range. There will always be people with lots of money to spend on a FFRR, but the middle ground is supported by people who probably can't keep up the payments if the economy slows. Lots of £70k vehicles won't be sold. But no reason why lots of £30k vehicles can't be sold to those same people. LR's problem is how to get people in to the £30k stuff when it is pretty basic, in terms of luxury feel, compared to their usual £70k choices. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I read somewhere today that JLR are teaming up again with BMW to further develope electric power trains - BMW is lacking in pure electric vehicle tech despite having been building 2 pure electric models for quite some time. Apparrantly JLR are much more advanced in electrical power plants than BMW despite JLR only making the iPace 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
