door / window black finisher strips bubbling

Hi everyone, just bought a 56 plate hse as my scooby has been written off by the hail storm damage in the midlands!
The only issue on it are that 1 off each off the door / window black finisher strips are bubbling (front window one side and rear the other), it looks like its just the trim and not the door top under it. Anyone have any ideas on how easy these are to replace?
Do they just pull upwards and off, held by clips? any ideas on part numbers or cost would be appreciated.
many thanks

If you mean the vertical black B pillar trim.

Undo the torx head screw on the inside of the door that holds the black lower window channel on. Lift off the lower window glass seal, you dont need to take it all off just the rearward part. Prise off from the back (on the front door) and unhook it at the front, there is a small lip that fits over the window frame. Clean the vertical strip of adhesive off the painted B pillar underneath.

Do a test fit to get the alignment right. Remove the adhesive backing and press into place. If its cold apply some hot air to get it to bond better.

The front door B pillar trim is about £16.

Hope that helps... Allan

Very easy - front held in by two torx screws, back by one. Open the door and look on the inside for the screw heads. About a tenner each from all good LR dealers (and some bad ones).

(AG09 - I take it that the OP is referring to the horizontal strips at the base of the windows on the doors.)

Thanks both, 2 answers very quick great start on here !
Yes I did mean horizontal strips at the bottom of the windows, and pleasantly surprised by the cost.

Did you get a reply as to how to remove the door glass trim to the top of the door that’s bubbling
