I’m a the proud owner of a 2005 sc RSS1. The previous owner fitted a new sound system which is plumbed in to the steering wheel controls.

My problem is I can’t turn on the setting that allows me to get the wing mirrors to lower on reversing.

I can get the setting menu but cannot navigate within it as the mode and forward buttons on the steering wheel just operate the sound system.

Is there any other way of doing this? I should say I have tried just putting key in the ignition at I and II position then putting it in reverse etc but it doesn’t work.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

They tend to be a pain anyway.

After a short while they get lower and lower and unhelpful.

Just dip the passenger one manually. And when you come back to the car and unlock it, it should revert to the memory position, providing you have that setting on!
