Rattle from the tensioners?

L320 TDV8...

Is “tensioner rattle” something these engines suffer from?

Still got a little rattle under load - nothing when stationary and revving in neutral, anyone had similar?

Are you sure it’s not diesel knock it can sound like a rattle, what fuel are you using try a tank full of v-power or ultima see if it changes 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Would that happen only when in motion and under load, and not happen when revving in neutral?

I'm way out in the sticks, so not many petrol stations around with the posh diesel... is there a decent additive I could try to get the same effect?
