The BT connection only works for the telephone, not the music for which you need to use the cable.

I had the same problem with mine 2010 my with the original lead provided. What I have done is purchased a iPod series 4 I think ( this was the one available in 2010.) The problem is that any iPod or iPhone that was made after 2010 has a different power with the electrics and that is why your 2010 lead can't read anything. The older model also has the correct apature for your lead to fit into. You can pick these old iPods up for about £25 / £30. The other way is to buy the adaptor that are mentioned many times on here to connect your iPhone by way of bluetooth but I think they are about £100. Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience. |
