From the 1960s

I sold a car to a very nice chap and whose name rang a bell. He went on to contribute to the design of many cars but in 1967 he designed this for Triumph:

Very cool! Lots of novel features are listed in that article, many of which became fact.

A picture of this was on the wall of a classroom in primary school, accompanied by other futuristic vehicles, pictures of Chris Foss's work and Eagle cutaways. Ah, the optimism of the Apollo generation...
