Subwoofer Rattle

Hi,

I've seen posts on here about what to do to resolve the issue on a 2012.
Does anyone have instructions on how to remove the plastic trim to get to the subwoofer.
Screw, clip positions etc. Pictures would be good if possible.

Thanks

The clip positions are roughly equidistant and you need to lever off the trim gently as you can to try to avoid breaking any clips. It is a pain in the butt and removal and replacement is much easier done with two people.

God bless a good indy tho. My local when I am in the west mids popped mine off without breaking any clips, I took it away and did the works, then dropped by after and he put it back on for me. No charge either.

Think the clips can be got on fleabay.

Thanks for that.

Where are the screws that I need to undo first?

Cheers

As far as I recall, none. Trim levers off, the only screws are on the actual subwoofer itself

Thanks.

If there are no screws to hold the plastic trim can you advise on where is best place to start unclipping the trim?
Bottom corners, or sides etc?

Cheers again 2012 SDV6 HSE LUXURY in Orkney grey.

Regrettably not as my indy did it, see my post above, but the plastic is fairly flexible so I gather from talking to him it is the clips that break, so you are more likely to snap some clips than the trim.

My indy didn't charge to prise it off or help me refit it as it was a quick job. Ask your local, they may do the same.
