| IRBails Member Since: 22 Nov 2013 Location: Wollongong Posts: 874    | I haven't seen crank issues but oil dilution is an issue on all DPF vehicles that RR produce based on my research. As more diesel is injected for a DFP burn oil dilution will occur. Seems it is a bigger issue with V6 but that may just be that more opt for this engine. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW. | ||

| Ozzie1980 Member Since: 29 Oct 2018 Location: London Posts: 2  | MY16 SDV8, read on here about oil dilution as service light came on early... was at 15% what ever that means... Should be around 6.... they changed the oil and filter FOC and told me to go for more long motorway jaunts.... | ||

I have spoke about this and believe the correct measure is more frequent oil changes. A V8 diesel to run around town is not going to work, I own a diesel because I drive the vehicle to diesel conditions , would not own a petrol .
