Tailgate won’t open using remote

So the boot won’t open when using remote.... it unlocks but as I’m aware on A RRS 2010 it should also lift up itself?

What do you think I need to look at without taking it to a garage[/b]

Was it not only from MY12 on with the one piece tailgate that powered up?

As Col said, the power lift only came on the 2012MY, does yours have the small diameter gas struts to aid the manual lift? The power struts are quite large in diameter.

Or should the 2009 to 12 fully open after unlocking using the gas struts? If so, the struts maybe weak. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Pretty sure that powered opening/closing came for MY12 when they introduced the aluminium one piece tailgate. Current: 2020 P400e HSE Dynamic
