Ive got a new and recurring problem with the logic seven stereo system. The Volume control becomes inactive for days on end and then comes back on its own. When it goes off the volume and all other tone controls, bass, treble etc do not function and the knob just makes a funny ticking sound when you turn it. Ive tried disengaging the batttery etc to reset the system but it doesnt work. On one occassion i noticed it went off after i hit a bump in the road then it cam back on the next day. Another thing is the screen also freexes in the land rover logo mode while the steroe is dead.
Everything works fine, the cd plays etc just no sound from the speakers.

If it happens when you go over bumps, that sounds like a dodgy connection in the back of the head unit somewhere. Dealer visit imminent, I'd say - which may or may not be easy in Lagos

Yep Kitkat, had this one the other day myself. Got home from a lovely holiday in the Maldives, jumped in the truck and...........silence, AM FM CD everything. The unit was working ok, just no sound.
