2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Chawton White

2012 model RRS tailgate won't close ..

Hi All, I have a June 2013 RRS (2012 model).
The tailgate opens fine on the button - whether in-car or remote - but will not close on the close button?
Any thoughts would be gratefully received ..

Welcome to the forum - I'm pretty sure the L320 did not close off the remote button - I've had 2 12MY. A member created a mod that he sold - I was fortunate to live local & became a tester. It worked great & could never understand why it wasn't a factory fit 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Hi - you're absolutely right!
The tailgate only opens on the remote.
Mine won't close when you press the close button on the tailgate itself.
I can't find any comment anywhere on this ..
I can't believe that I'm the one and only ;^))

That’s definitely a fault - does it close from the button on the dash ? How long have you owned it ? Can you take it back to the seller ? 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

I never had an issue with the button but both was temperamental at times - either partly closing or partly opening ( if that makes sense ). 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

The kit is great, never had an issue with it and very easy to install. I couldn't do without it now.

Assume this is a fault only affecting some as I have a 2012 MY on a 61 plate (one of the earliest 2012 MY's) and don't have any issues.

^^^^^^^does the tailgate close off the key fob ? This was not standard on any L320 RRS. 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

+1 for the kit from The Big 1.
Easy to install and I have had no problems with it. MY13.5 Autobiography, Santorini Black, Privacy Glass. Gone
Driving a milk float for now.
