Not Mine But Hers

Put a deposit down today on a very tidy MY08 4.2 S/C Overfinch HSE Smile

This is for MOH, so needed to be spot on. FSH with receipts for everything spent on the car, 55k miles, new tyres all round, removable tow-bar/electrics, rear entertainment etc. Drives lovely & that V8 sound...

Only pic we have currently but will add more when we collect in a couple of weeks time.

Oh & insurance - £350 f/c in SE London postcode Very Happy

That's good news.

Have a great weekend away. But aren't you risking spending all weekend missing the opportunity to listen to the SC soundtrack Whistle

Looking foward to lots of piccies and some feedback on the driving and owning experience.

Leave them your RRS & take the SC unless yours is also a SC.

Update but no pictures...

We picked it up on Sunday 1st April and proceeded ever so gingerly round the M25 at about 60mph. She was driving but doesn't like motorways and doesn't know the car and hasn't driven automatic very often. Fuel consumption was good! When we got home, we took it up to her sister's to leave whilst we clear out the garage. There it's stayed ever since, blocked in by their cars on their drive and we added a steering lock.

This weekend we finally got the garage cleared and as I had mine down, I measured it and then the garage - garage is too small by at least a foot Sad Big Cry She was almost in tears. Next process is to remove the front garden but that's going to take a while, though there's definitely enough space this time.

In the meantime, I've started accumulating small mods - dash mat, smoked side repeaters to start with.

I will get up there and get some pictures and she's deparate to drive it!

Actually took the car out for a drive yesterday!

Also took the opportunity to take some pictures, though a bit dusty it needs a wash Embarassed

Then I changed the side repeaters - much better!

Arty shot of the front

After nearly a year's ownership, it was time for B Service and an MOT. In that time MOH has slowly built up confidence in driving it and over the last year it's done 1100 miles and I would estimate 650 of those were when I was driving! Still she absolutely loves it and is getting more adventurous.

Had it serviced at LRR in London and the chap there was positively beaming when he handed back the keys - cleanest car they've seen in a long time, no oil leaks or rust or anything. Better not take it off roading in Wales then Whistle
