I have a late 16 Autobio 306, and am off to Spain with it for a bit, the option of a fuel burning heater wasn’t specified (OF COURSE!) but I’m trying to find out if I can get the remote start via the app working… have the remote premium and all the subscriptions (and the same app fires up the engine of the F-Type for 30min to pre-heat without fbh!)

I don’t want to have to have the vehicle running unlocked with or without the keys in to cool it off if I can pre-cool remotely… MUST BE POSSIBLE!?!?

Help please!!

I've managed to get it to work on my SVR but it can be hit and miss. Car stays locked throughout. Hope that helps?

I’ve not got it appearing on my incontrol menu at all… all other parts of the menu are working fine.

All other functions are there… and I’ve got the full subscription in place

LR told me it was a “geographical restriction” on UK vehicles, but as the Jag has the same system I think that they are talking rubbish…

I have the home screen, journeys, assistance and settings. No remote climate / start screen 🙁

I don't think it was available until MY17.

MY16 had Incontrol touch plus I believe.
