Wiring Diagram

do you have a clear layout for the connections and wiring ?, I am trying to plumb in the same Pioneer amp and Incartec kit.

specifically, how did you plumb the pioneer in .. powering just the Sub or all the speakers including the Sub ? or HU for Speakers and AMp for SUb ?....

doesn't seem as simple or I am missing something....

Sorry no diagram but very simple

Head unit is used to drive front and rear door speakers connected via incartec lead

When you do this there will be a pair of pink twisted pairs in the incartec loom near the redundant original amp not connected to anything .

Connect Sub Out on head unit to Pioneer amp with phone/RCA cable and then connect speaker out from amp to pink wires. Simples Thumbs Up

If you read the instructions for the lead https://incartec.blob.core.windows.net/instructions/20-308.pdf
it specifically tells you you that the pink wires are for sub and there is a picture too TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten

Arrr ok...RCA connector... 2 channel only.. LPF on, etc etc..

So you cut the ISO speaker loom the amp uses to send the signal out ???

and wired into the two pairs of pink sub connectors..??

Which speaker pair out or doesnt it matter ?

So the HU drives all four door speakers and the tweeters work ??

yep removed iso connector and followed pioneer 2 channel stereo wiring diagram on page 8

https://www.pioneerelectronics.com/StaticF...072414.pdf

No need to set LPF on amp as my headunit does that

Yes woofers and teeters in doors work from head unit as only standard Harmon Kardon system not logic 7 TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten

Hello All,

I am seriously doing this upgrade later this year, but I have the Logic7 system at the moment.

I have one question however... I know that the front centre speaker will not longer work. I have understood that it is possible to get the subwoofer working by using an extra amp, but since I have the Logic7 system, my RRS has the headphone sockets in the rear doors.

Is there any way to keep these working?

Thanks for your help & comments.

Nick

Yes and no!!!

I have/had the Logic7 system and upgraded with the InCarTec kit to fit a Pioneer head unit and also additional amp to power the subwoofer. I just read your post so thought I would check the rear DVD headphone sockets as the screens work but never tried the headphones since upgrading. I got a strange result... the rear passenger headphone socket works perfectly when playing a dvd through the rear entertainment system but the rear drivers side headphone socket doesn't work! I'm not really bothered as I don't have small kids to keep entertained but I'm now curious if this is to do with upgrade or not.
I guess the positive news for you is that I can confirm at least one of them will work!! 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue
