Remote boot on 2012 RRS

Hi all sometimes it opens sometimes it just makes a click and opens about an inch just enough for me to open it by hand
Any ideas ?

2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 SE Orkney Grey

Sticky boot rubbers, put some silicon or vaseline on the rubbers all round and it will stop the friction that is telling the boot not to open.

Press button again and it usually opens for me.
Will lube my rubbers soon Visitor from fullfatrr.com
