New tv tuner install!

Iv got a rrs 2008 with doesn’t have tv as standard, what I want to do is find out what I need to get this up and running so I can you the sat nav screen as the tv screen. Any help would be muchly appreciated

Just installed OEM TV on my 59 plate RRS - attached above is link to a guide I've produced detailing the installation together with parts.

If link does not work search my gallery and PDF is in there.

I think the problem the original O/P may have is that, that mod is for a RRS1 facelift. the O/P has a pre facelift and the electronics are completely different including the nav screen etc.

Incidentally that is a excellent piece of work and very impressive. Bow down

A GVIF module will take control of the front screen when nav mode is selected.

You can then display 3 video inputs of your choice (e.g output of TV tuner), plus a reverse camera picture and of course also select the navigation display back.

Do you have an IID ?

That's one hell of a guide! How much did it set you back sourcing the parts?
