I had freelander 2 for 6 years and no problems, but then paid 3 rimes as much and this failing under 2 years. I have only delt with the European LR team who are arranging everything, but lets see what LRUK response would be when I return. | ||

JLR and all manufacturers evolve their components as their understanding of the units / failures / etc happen during a life cycle of the product.

I had this happen on a Saab they replaced the block and had to do the job twice as metal was in turbo and ended up through the motor again.
