| Sionr Member Since: 13 Jul 2017 Location: N.wales Posts: 9      | Well I managed to split my fob case without damaging it (poor previous fix by someone) and the battery wasn't connected on one side little temporary solder fix and it's working again

| Socast Member Since: 25 Sep 2014 Location: Somerset Posts: 594      | If you open the key you can test the battery yes, but the voltage on the battery doesn't dictate if the key works or not. You will also need to order a new case if you open the key, but before doing that, see if your local garage has a key tester, that will tell you if the key is emiting a signal and takes seconds to do.
