Sorry but in my book a two year warranty is two years not 1.99! What they need to do to claim is their problem. I'd go to LR an also trading standards Robin 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Gone: Jaguar S-Type V8 4.2 Sport MGZTT 190 2.5 | ||

Whenever I swap my car for a loan car, there is so much discrepancy between the courtesy car "condition report" and the actual state of the car. On every single occasion mileage has been way out and they have claimed their car to be unmarked. Then I go around it and make them take note of all the scratches, marks etc. which they had conveniently overlooked. They always manage to find the slightest of imperfections in mine when taking it in. Same situation with fuel: always half tank on paper but close to empty on the gauge. This time it was even worse and I am also to blame for believing the paperwork on fuel (still pointed out scratches, lots of them) in my rush to get to work. Zero mile range, absolutely empty on gauge, fuel warning and on reserve when I noticed about 5 minutes after setting off. Could have left me stranded on the north circular in rush hour traffic had I not pulled over and put some diesel in as soon as I could

This allows 2 weeks to identify the fault, book the car into the dealer, let them do their bit (as stated above) So in my case tuff luck
