Not sure how they deal with pre-existing issues but before you can opt for the LR warranty I believe your car has to have an inspection at your expense. The front screen may need a replacement screen if one side is still working OK. I had my screen replaced in January because the passenger side was not defrosting but the car is still in the 3 year warranty period. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
