What 19 inch rims will fit RRS with Brembo brakes

Elsewhere on the forum you will see my add for the sale of 4 19 inch wheels and tyres. Only selling because they wont fit over my Brembo brake callipers.

Does anyone know what 19 inch wheels will fit as presumably I could swap the tyres over. Robin

I would say the snowflake 19s as thats around the right time for TDV8s and Brembos

But you need definite confirmation from other members that run them as im not 100% sure Thumbs Up 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

Cheers guys

Any idea what part of model number they are?

Also, having had to look into wheels in a lot more detail, I am a bit concerned that the ones I have appear to suggest a weight limit of 860kg (as suggested by this picture of the inside) although I have no idea if I am reading these codes correctly.

Is this correct for the RRS? Robin

Check your axle weights on the sticker under the bonnet, the rating for the pair of wheels needs to be more than the max weight for that axle. In this case you'll be way over, but it's useful to know. It's recommended to have 25% over per wheel as a safety margin too.

It tells anyone reading the thread what your car's VIN is.................. suggest you edit the photo to avoid cloning
LRC798 is the paint code

Wheels: IIRC these will fit - they are from a Disco3 that I ran on my TDV8 with GoodYear Eagle MTRs

I'm resurrecting this post as my manic few months has calmed down a bit and I'm now looking to sort out my winter wheels.

This is what I currently have four of:

Thanks for your help with your photos Tim. However, its not the easiest thing in the world to search for new wheels for my 19 inch tyres from just a picture. Are you saying that if they look like your pics then they will definitely fit? Does anyone know if wheels have a type (or model?) reference number (or a name or description) and if so what Tim's wheels would be?

Also has anyone any idea why the ones I've got don't fit in spite of general advice from the forum stating that 19's will fit on my TDV8 over Brembos. My ones clearly don't - after trying them there was a terrible graunching sound and the RRS hardly moved.

I am guessing that the key problem is the offset which I believe is shown in this picture

But I am not an expert on wheels by any means

And I am guessing that this is the model number of the wheel:

Any thoughts gladly received. Robin

What does it tell me?

Gross Vehicle Weight: 3175kg
Max Train weight (vehicle plus trailer): 6675kg
Max front axle load: 1540kg
Max rear axle load: 1710kg

Note that each is a maximum so you can't add max allowable front and rear axles as that would exceed the GVW. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Hi Robin,
I have had a look at the ones OFF my car Rolling Eyes they are what I understand to be "sparkle silver snow flake" they are the same ones as in Pufftmw pics

the details I can see read as 9J x 19 EH2 OFF53 9 is the width of the rim J is the bead profile, 19 the wheel diameter EH2 to do with the wheels internal design? and OFF53 is the offset

the ones I have for sale are the same ones as Tim has posted istr the details read the same, (there is a long story to do with this on D3 Rolling Eyes ) but the difference between the two sets I have other than the look is the weight of them
these are lighter.

Thumbs Up
