Test drive couldn't have gone better. No wheezing, coughs rattles, knocks or in fact anything suspicious at all.

Everything checked out down to ice cold air con. Superb condition, FLSH, all intervals meticulously documented from

Many different dealer stamps. Very happy. Drove car to Blackpool from Mansfield around 130 miles. Mpg great, quite a surprise how good to be honest.

Then I turn full lock on to get round a tight corner on camp site going down hill and the suspension warning light comes on. Now it comes on after 2 minutes and then goes solid and stays there. Very peed off. Car still feels like it drives perfect. What can it be? Is the only way to find out to take it to LR and get it plugged in? Or can these things be cleared by obd?

Any pointers greatfully received.

Cheers

Scott

Whilst the Sport is stationary but running - raise the suspension to full height - then lower it to access height do this a couple of times - does the light come on ? does it raise & lower without issues ? The air suspension compressor is placed right in font of the rear wheel - passenger side - is this making a noise ? ( louder than normal - which is a low humming noise )

Is it covered by warranty ?

Does the light disappear when the vehicle is switched off ? 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

I would think it's the steering angle sensor is off. Take it back to the seller and ask them to fix it, if it's a private sale then find an indi Thumbs Up

Goes up and down and access all ok no noise no lights.

Only when tight turn or tight turn and downhill.

Steering angle sensor would make sense as it's around the steering angles that the light comes on.

Light disappears when car not running.

My friend owns a garage, will see if he can take a look.

If that's all that's wrong with it, it's a lot of car for a smidge over 10k, which is what I paid, so not the end of the world I guess.

You're best taking it to a specialist or a dealer. There are a lot of systems on this car that are unique and as such most garages have no knowledge of them, do you want to be a guinea pig or do you want the car fixing ?

I don't know if it's related or not but soon after I first got mine i had parked it up for a week without use. Then when I went to use it and drove off i had to do a sharp right turn and my suspension light came on. I panicked and pulled over and then raised and lowered the suspension and the light went off and never came on again.
I think mine was just where it had been sat for a week, maybe the suspension dropped a little.
Not sure if that's similar to your problem but hope you get it fixed.
Yes it's a lot of car for 10k but be prepared for some hefty bills too! 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue
2005 4.2L Supercharged Java Black - gone but was my first love.

If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time?
