A few pics of your activities and what you found would be really useful IDC. Also how many miles on your TDV8? Robin

My one is coming up to 129,000 over 90% motorway Miles, the problem with mine is the actuators, but as I have got 2 new Turbo's already given to me by a friend who had a similar car and same year as mine he gave them to me as he sold the car as seen to some chap who exported it to Lagos, so I thought I get them changed

I hope mine last as long as yours as I'm on 62,000 miles now. Plenty of time... |

hi pal as long as you drive the hell out of it like you nicked it once in a while and after long runs let the engine run idle for a couple of mins for the Turbos to cool down they should last

Wow I would love to see how they managed that, ( your pics aren't showing up), I have a fully equipped workshop with 2 post lift and all the tools but granted I'm no rangy specialist but when I had my own on the lift with all the heat shields off to change the crankshaft sensor I had the starter out the way too and I looked up at the turbo on that side and thought thank fk I ain't changing that ... yet, and thought no wonder the body has to come off so fair play to them, I took a pic somewhere hold on...

Try again, or put them in imgur.
Yeah, its not as big a deal as it sounds something like 8 bolts. There is a guide on the disco forum. |
