I have one of those fitted to the wife's Evoque.

She does so little mileage that battery drain was a serious issue, the Ctek "battery sense" monitor gives me a reliable remote indication of the state of the battery, allowing me to charge it when needed and before the charge level drops to battery damaging levels.

It only draws any current, so far as I can see, when you interrogate it via your iPhone app, so does not add to the current drain problem.

Great bit of kit. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Mine does not give off a battery low warning light, I just know when the thing wont start Rolling Eyes this seems strange?
