satnav

hi all this is my first ever post so go gentle with me. on a recent journey (long distant) typed in post code and off we went all going fine a hour in when the satnav went of on a journey all of its own,( very annoying ) this has happened on every trip ive been on ive been told a satnav update is in order but I don't want to pay main dealers prices any help would be greatly received (55 plate 2,7 hse) kind regards mark Sad Sad

buddy, your best bet is to load Google Maps on your phone and get a phone charger/cradle.

that's what I ended up doing after finding out how terrible the SatNav in my 2011 D4 is, and how $$$$ the updates are! --

I really like the satnav in mine. Way better than apple maps. Just a shame that the live traffic updates dont really work properly Big Cry

thanks socast I take it you mean the disc and not the complete satnav unit?

Yup, just need to replace the disk. I searched for the Denso unit as that's what we have fitted.

Yeah that Nav is a nightmare.

As much as I love built in units, I just couldn't be bothered with it yesterday.
