Finally got a Series 2 after 50 years!

Had a big family get together for my half century and swmbo sorted me out with my dream Series 2 and even got me another caravan as she knows how much I miss it Mr. Green

Retirement home Shocked

We met family at Headlam Hall because it's mid way between Yorkshire and Scotland and have to say they did us proud - private dining room for my birthday in the evening and again for breakfast as it was my Sisters birthday (no we're not twins - she's 4 years younger Rolling Eyes ) Mr. Green

Should say our Westie and family in the LR were a nice touch but the bald driver upset me - I asked "who is that" and they all said it's me Shocked

The cake is a sore point Embarassed

Swmbo arranged it as a surprise and wasn't happy with the finished article so it's going back and I wasn't allowed any or candles Big Cry

She asked for the LR and family to be hard iced to keep and the caravan a cake to eat (she hates vans so cutting it up seemed appropriate Twisted Evil ) however it is all soft icing and the caravan was hollow not cake so she blew a gasket and guess who is getting it in the ear - I need a cake forum Whistle

When I saw the thread title I thought you'd actually bought a S2 for yourself! Should have known better. Laughing

The cake looks fab but I can see why SWMBO is annoyed if it was totally different to that ordered. The hollow van was a bit naughty! Shocked
