I've just had exactly the same problem with my 18 month old L494 RRS and apart from checking the fuses the only other thing to check are the connections. As my car is still under warranty I left it to the dealership to check those out - their conclusion was a replacement screen for my car............. You might have to have an unfortunate collision with a stone and claim on your insurance for a replacement screen.................. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Hi Tim. Thanks for your response but i forgot to mention my vehicle in question is a 2006 'L320' model. I imagine this will be a touch more primitive than the new model you're referring to. |

I don't think things have changed that much. |

my 2006 is exactly the same I've been told the screen needs replacing as the elements are worn out. |

I think there is only one relay these days for the windscreen (under the bonnet), so if one side it working the relay is ok. |

One relay, two fuses for the front screen. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Thanks for the useful info.....definitely sounds like a new screen required. |
