How long does it take for V5C to arrive?

Bought my RRS on 12th November... still no log book!

Usually I wouldn't be too bothered but I was hoping to have my private reg on before Christmas and need the log book in my name to make the change.

I've rang DVLA twice and they just keep telling me its being processed, surely its not that difficult!

It's never taken this long before, anyone have any advice? CURRENT: RRS MY10 3.0 TDV6 HSE Command Shift - Stornoway Grey

About 10 months ago, before the reg plate system went to a web based system, I gave up waiting after 2/3 weeks and just send the reg transfer off. It worked out ok.

Bought mine on the 12th October. After 4 weeks had not received my V5 so I sent off the green slip (V5c I think).l My new V5 came by return of post.

Maybe they couldn't make out the writing on the original?

Mine was 5 working days from when I picked it up 61 AB 5.0 supercharged rocket
07 HSE TDV8 with lots of toys EGR removed BAS remap
56 HSE WAS FULL OF PROBLEMS

Ive been waiting 3 weeks and still nothing if it gets to 4 weeks I'm sending the v62 form in.

Christ! Seems like its a bit of a lottery as to how quick they pull their fingers out.

7 weeks is ridiculous!
