Can you purchase LR dealer warranty on non dealer sales

As per title can you purchase Land rover 2 year dealer warranty for cars that youve pruchased from non LR dealership

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White

You can get a 12 month warranty for about £900-£1100 but you have to take your vehicle to a LR dealer for a health check first.

I bought my first RRS privately. It had a few months of manufacturer's 3 year warranty remaining. When it was close to running out I bought a 12 month extended warranty direct from Land Rover website. As I didn't let it go out of warranty, there was no need for a health check. The following year I purchased warranty again before the existing extended warranty expired and no inspection was required. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

is it the same warranty as you would get if buying a RRS for the dealer

it will be a land rover extended warranty or an annual warranty with criteria set out subject to year and mileage as the dealer for details and check it out. Nothing to lose in enquiring its pricey but thats relative D3 TDV6 SE auto 2006
