United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black
New Member and New RRS 3.0 Autobiography

This is my new Range Rover Sport

Onyx spec.
HSE as standard with all the kits and extras you could ever imagine!

Fallen in love.

I believe it was been mapped as its very quick and reached around 32MPG.

Full black leather interior with heated seats front & rear.

Surrounding Cameras

parking aids

Tv audio

auto gear box & flappy paddle

loads more to list!!

not sure what other mods I should make to it I want it to be the best and meanest range rover in the country!!

Any ideas?

Wales 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Welcome on board Scott Thumbs Up

Good spec admire your plans for wanting it to be the dogs! sadly it will also atract low life's wanting to steal your motor in my view Question

Maybe worth considering a few extra security measures.

Tracker,Locking wheel nuts,Uprated Alarm,Spare wheel upgraded lock & cover,Steering wheel lock..

Detailing maybe in the new year.

Upgrade internal lights to LED's.

How's the service history & mileage?

Mileage is 33k
Full service history. And its a 61 plate soon to have the private plates put on!! Ekkkkkk! Very Happy

It will be locked up my drive with camorras on it at all times parked behind my other car so wont ever be stolen from my drive.

It has a full size spare wheel just not the 22" one just a standard spare on it.

Iv ordered new LED yesterday for the number plate.

Thinking of getting the brake callipers sprayed high gloss silver.

Might get a tracker installed also though do you know anywhere that does them?

Very nice car mate. I would change the wheels first and get the spare wheel protector fitted asap otherwise you might find a missing spare wheel one day like alot of us have on this site.

ill look into getting a spare wheel protector on it didn't know it was meant to have one,
Im keeping these wheels on the car might just buy some new locking wheels nuts. The wheels obv do have one locking wheel nut per wheel but may put another in to be on the safe side.

Anyone know where you can get them Glohh rear lights from.
Seen they are £600 but I cant justify paying that much for some rear lights at the moment.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

The spare wheel protector isn't a factory/ OEM item. The spare slung under the back of the car is easily stolen so a member
of the Discovery 3 forum (they have the same issue and design of carrier) designed and made some steel protectors that protect not only the wheel but also the hoist used to lower it out of storage as the way to steal a spare is to cut the winch wire so not only is a new spare required but also a new hoist winch and rope! You might also like to invest in some rear light cluster security bolts - see the thread in the forums.

Onyx spec isn't a Land Rover model, it sounds like your car has been modified by one of the 3rd party fettlers - you need to check that you insurers will accept this as many don't like modified cars, either mechanically or with body kits. Especially you need to determine if it is or isn't chipped/ remapped as that would render your insurance invalid if not declared........... for non-disclosure. I think it would look better with RRS OEM wheels in black shod with higher profile tyres which would also improve the ride and be less prone to kerbing than ULP tyres. There are black OEM wheels available for L494 Mk2 RRS that would fit and in sizes up to 22". 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Bump!

This car is a HSE Lux I believe that has had the full Autobiography kit added with the onyx wheels.

I have insured it as it looks so I have told them about any additional mods on the car e.g Wheels and fron & back bumper.
Everything else is standard on the model trim of the car.

think ill keep these wheels on what's the point in having these wheels and not having them on the car make it stand out from any other one around.

The ride comfort is okay tbh. I don't go anywhere off roading etc only use it as a second car really.

I may have to look into getting the spare wheel secured in place so it cant be stolen! The car is kept in a secure driveway anyway.

Think I might order some Wind defectors (Black).
Interior LED has been ordered.

Thinking about getting the rear lights tinted slightly black?
Thought? has anyone else done this?

Thanks
Scott
