Hi people just a quickie does having a dash cam fitted reduce the cost of your insurance premium, ime getting one fitted on tuesday and have been listening to conflicting stories on this subject.

I didn't fit one to reduce my insurance. I fitted ome so there is no fancying around by insurance/police in the event of an accident. Everything (right or wrong) is recorded for evidence

If they give you a discount it will become a condition of your insurance, if you were to be involved in an accident and you didn't have any footage due to malfunction etc I guess it's another clause for them not to payout, wouldn't be worth it to me for the small discount.

The dash am is still well worth the investment though. Nanocom Evo
