I've tried search but maybe being a plank

Drove back from Wales today with an empty twin wheel trailer, no problems. Dropped the dog at home and with the trailer still attached popped to Lidl for supplies. That was OK but did have a quick start/stop as I forgot to validate my parking ticket. Anyway... Waiting to pull out on the road and a bus flashed me out. Put my foot down and although the car accelerated, it felt sluggish and didn't have the normal oomph. Got to about 20 and it picked up a bit but it still felt a bit sluggish. Turned off and onto sideroads, it still felt sluggish. Parked her up, then came back a couple of mins later to park a bit tidier and noticed that the orange/amber light next to the park brake light that looks like a gearbox was on. There's no error messages on the dash or anything and I didn't notice the light when leaving Lidl but I may have been paying attention to the road, not the dash.

Any ideas anyone? Meant to be taking it back to Wales with the trailer on Friday...

The amber light next to the park brake indicator light is the park brake fault indicator. It suggests a problem with the EPB. Needs the codes read I think.

It sounds like something may be binding if it's causing the vehicle to be sluggish to pull away. Do either of the rear wheel centres get much hotter than the other? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

It looks like a gearbox? Or poss an engine?

If it is that, then can the car be driven without damaging the engine until sorted?

Oh & car is an 07 TDV6 with 131k miles

Will likely be the egr valves stuck open. Can be blanked and needs a software update on your year car.

Took the car & trailer slowly round the M25 this morning to AJS for some new tyres - slow as in no acceleration lol. Left it with them for half an hour whilst I walked the dog, came back, drove off and car was back to normal but amber light still on. Didn't push it or anything. Got home, one local trip then just went for another trip and light has gone off altogether Happy days

I will get the EGRs blanked soon. Unfortunately Enfield won't be good for me as car in LRR next week for ARC thingy...
