SVR at Goodwood FoS

Did anybody see the SVR at this years FoS?

I saw a video of it on Land Rover's Facebook page and would like to know what that colour is called?

Was it Firenze? It was with the display of the extended bespoke palette colours (can't remember the official name). There was an Estoril blue one outside.

Hi Phil,
Yes I'm almost certain it was, I did see the Estoril Blue one as well on the Land Rover Stand.
Also there were a couple heavily modified with extra body kits on other stands but they were in black(2) and one in blue.

Morning All,
It actually wasn't Firenze as I've just confirmed with our bespoke team. I wasn't at FOS but thought myself it looked a little bright for Firenze but couldn't remember the name.

Phil was correct with it standing near the extended pallette; the actual colour is Spectral Red

I stand corrected. Terribly sorry. I honestly didn't realise it was on the extended pallet section there was just so much to look at and take in Thumbs Up

Thanks Dave, I thought it didn't quite look like Firenze which is why I originally asked but then thought may lighting etc made it look much better!

Does anybody have any idea how much this colour from the extended palette costs?

Cheers

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

From my 2003 colour brochure for the original Autobiography service from Land Rover I have this. Additional cost was "From £10,000 depending on paint type" back then! It is a lighter shade of red than Firenze and it changes shade as you walk around the car or the sunlight changes..................
I have seen several FFRR's in Spectral Red and several in the "Wimbledon Green" colour............ Changes from green to purple.......

2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Yikes! That is the difference in price of a 5.0L Supercharged and SVR! I think I will stick to Estoril when I order my SVR Smile

The other comment in the brochure from way back then is "If the base car is in a black shade then the new paint shade must be hand applied.................." ££££££££££££££££'s
Quite a few of the Spectral and special paint shades are best described as "an acquired taste" and I'm sure that there is no way that you would ever recover the cost come selling time! I will try to photo the 2003 "optional colours" from the Autobiography service but there was another "any colour you like" option then too (if you could afford it)

Although it is probably well out of date if anyone would like a scanned copy of the Autobiograpghy Selections exterior and. Interior colour options, send me a PM with an email address and I will email a PDF version. I have every LR brochure going back to 2001................. For Freelander1, Freelander 2, Defender, Disco 3, RRS L320, RRS L494, FFRR L322 and FFRR L405....... And I have some of the special edition brochures/ sales literature. It is all in hard copy format and needs to be scanned rather than being electronic. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

It's easier now for SVO to offer these colours as the new facility in Oxford Road has twelve (?) paint bays. When I discussed options with SVO for my SVR there was a limit of what could be done.

Not now.

Just seen some of the special colours available for the SVR 2017 MY. Some of them do look pretty good and I would be keen to see what they look like in real.

Does anybody know if dealers keep colour palettes with the colour actually painted onto the same material as the body part?
