The air bag itself is inside a metal tube and isn't visible normally. He might have seen the gaiter that covers the bottom of the strut and thought that is the air bag.

| RRSTDV8 Member Since: 12 Aug 2011 Location: Northamptonshire Posts: 9156      | My RRS has been sat for a week and it too had dropped to about access height. I think it's just a slightly leaky corner valve and the vehicle has lowered itself by the "wake up and check your levels" routine. I just started it up and it went straight back up to standard height which suggests that the reservoir was full. A good thing.
