Tow bar lock size

Hi- I'm trying to order a new lock for my detachable tow bar- but e bay offers 2 sizes, 35mm and 45 mm. I'm abroad at the moment so just wondered if our tow bars are fitted with either of these sizes or is one more common and worth risking an order?
