Hi folks,

This is my first post on here! Just got my 2010 RRS and really enjoying it although I have a question regarding the suspension...

Basically after i purchased my RRS I was told by the dealer they had the replace the ARC when doing the pre-sale service which cost them 2 grand. I thought well this is great I just avoided a massive kick in the balls further down the line! Now what i want to know is what exactly is the ARC? Im confused as ive read lots about people having problems with their ARC leaking but from what I gathered they have Dynamic Response - which my RRS does not have?

Could anyone give me a simple explanation to what the ARC is and how it relates (if at all) to the anti roll bar please? I have also been hearing a very faint knocking from the front, I assume from doing research this could be the links or the bushes which hold on the ARB?

Just one additional edit: What does the term ACE stand for and how does this relate to my vehicle?

Open the bonnet, and see if there is a fluid container on the drivers side. (by air box)

If there is, it has ARC.

If it doesn't have it, maybe the salesman was just trying to make you think you had a really good deal.

ACE active cornering enhancement as fitted to D2's.
Dynamic response is fitted as standard to TDV8's and S/C's though I think it's an optional extra on other models.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Thanks mate I will have a look for this later on today. I assume that ARC is completely separate from Dynamic Response? From what i can gather DS is just a sophisticated system which adjusts the suspension accordingly for varying road conditions?

And what does ARC actually stand for?! Is this basically the same as ACE? Sorry but im confused

ACE was the first generation of DR.
