SVR, S/C, RRFF depreciation?

So, I had an SVR Shocked for a couple of hours today, and it was awesome to drive Very Happy in dynamic and sport it was a complete animal Twisted Evil but in standard mode the red mist cleared and it was a pleasure to drive Very Happy

So trying to work out what is best all round, a used SVR £100k, a used sport super charged is £60k and a used full fat is £70k
What will the depreciation be on them in say 2-3 years? Will the SVR loose a lot less? As the residuals are really good at the moment? Buying the brute may make sense? Not bothered about the fuel cost as it will not be the daily drive. Range Rover Sport HSE TDV8 MY2010

I would say as a rule stay well clear of anything big , new and petrol . The svr could be the exception to the rule .

Dealers are still asking good money for the SVR but what are they giving for them when taken in px as you are going to have problems trying to sell private.

United Kingdom

Ive taken the plunge and ordered new after months of deciding.

The way I see the market now is the SVR at 100k used which is almost 1 year old and 6k miles maybe more has lost 10k off its new price but the dealer I expect gave more like high 80s at most 90k for it PX so it has lost 20k in a year which is the same as the standard sport I am putting in PX.

I decided that if I'm giving the dealer 10k profit on a used one I may aswell buy new and get and brand new car in October with 5 miles on it and look to keep it longer than a year for another 10k I thought it was worth buying new.

You will also notice if like me the SVR is sticking at the used dealers for them prices for months and some of them have dropped thousands and are still for sale months down the line.

They are a 96k car new which is maybe why and its only the options you tick for your own pleasure which puts up the cost and the dealers like others said to me are worth zero on PX.

Regards
Gareth
