| Slim444 Member Since: 09 Nov 2015 Location: Huntingdon Posts: 200      | If you want to keep the cost down, use the scissor jack that came with the car and an axle stand or two- 3 tonne or above to be on the safe side. The 2 tonne affairs might hold the weight of a corner, but they are a bit small for the RRS! You should have the car on axle stands anyway if you're planning on doing anything more than swapping a wheel over.

I've got a Halfrauds 2 tonne trolley jack, but it isn't up the job of lifting the RRS, really feels like it's straining. Not high enough either  | ||

| gogsy1956 Member Since: 15 Jun 2013 Location: Tyne and Wear Posts: 961      | as I mentioned,, I have the 2.5 ton,, rocket lift I think its called, it has a higher lift than a lot of jacks and certainly lifts the RS,,, only one corner at a time though. wouldn't like to risk lifting the whole front or rear, could be a tad wobbly !! 2010 RRS, TDV8
