What do you think if we compile/write a glossary section for this forum.

A good starting point is what VA (Very Annoying ) wrote in the thread above, which, honestly didn't understand a word of it. Here's a quote:

Can you help decipher the tech talk above.

So far I learned one term. FFRR= Full Fat Range Rover.

Care to chip in?

Between Martin, RRUK, Shmoogle and VA we can keep this neat by editing and deleting.

Edit: Have taken Martin's suggestion and moved all into the initial post.

So, D3 = Discovery 3. What about the rest.

What's the difference between D3 and LR3. Are they different names for different markets. Also, I thought D3 no longer exist, it's been changed to LR3. Anybody can enlighten me/us.

Thought I would update this with a long overdue couple of recent additions....

Updates are RBMM and CHPR and can be found in the updated list in the initial post.

There must be others we've brought into general use in the past couple of years since this was updated.

LAT = laughing at that?

ECU - Engine Control Unit

ETI = Elapsed Time Indicator

PDI = Pre Delivery Inspection
