Was told years ago, never plant tender bedding plants out in the garden if you can see any sign of snow patches on Ben Lomond or The Aberfoyle Alps/ Ben A'an as you can still get a frost at night even in June if there is snow still up there! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Just home from the local garden centre where, parked in the full sun, there was a black Mini cabrio, hood down, black leather seats baking in the 27c cloudless blue skies day we are having at the moment. We Brits (or maybe it just Scots) get to put the hood down on our convertibles so rarely that we forget that black fabric or leather, but especially leather, can get very very hot in the sunshine....... When I came out of the garden centre I heard an almighty shriek that sounded like someone was being murdered...................... It was a young lady in very short shorts and a open back top who had just sat on the very very hot driver's seat of her mini!
