Hi guys, my 2007 2.7 hse is playing up. Whenever I accelerate and turn I hear a clunking from what feels like right underneath my seat, it's worse when turning left. Turning the wheel at standstill doesn't do it, it only seems to be when I accelerate into a corner. That's the first thing!

Does the 4x4 screen show any red bars over the wheels? One of the failures that causes the vehicle to drop on to its bump stops is a "cross articulation error". This occurs when more than one height sensor gives a spurious reading. The fix can be as simple as a calibration of the height sensors. Don't drive it too far as you have no suspension at all - it's on its bump stops and that's why it feels so uncomfortable! The reason you get the "special programmes unavailable" warning is as a result of a cascade failure; the Terrain Response system can't work correctly if the suspension can't be raised etc. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Makes sense it's on its bump stops. I'm pretty sure you can't drive normally in access mode anyway, the vehicle raises itself to standard above a certain speed IIRC. |

RRSTDV8 funny you should say that, a red line is over the drivers front wheel and as been for a while, I never knew what it was I thought it was because my drive is uneven!!

One last thing, it dropped to acces today because I pressed the button to lower it, it just won't come back up again. |

You need to get the height sensor sorted before you do anything else. Also, check that there isn't anything in and around the suspension in the driver's wheel arch. I wonder if the noise you mentioned is something broken or fouling on the suspension and preventing movement. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
