Front panel damage...Gutted! Pics...

Yep, I feel sick..!

Just driven 4 hours back from Cornwall and 20 yards from my own driveway an elderly neighbour reverses into me!!

Anyone else had similar insurance claim?

Apparently all covered just excess to pay, but will it be good as new when fixed?

Anything I need to consider? I'm with Privilege and they have a local garage tbey use and work guaranteed for 5 years...

Soo frustrating!!

Sad

Hi,
If she reversed into you, why would you need to pay the excess? 2019 RRS P400e Autobiography

That's quite normal now, that's what your legal protection option is for, to ensure you get it back from the person responsible. It isn't a normal done thing re excess, you pay that to keep premiums down, not a worry till claim time. You shouldn't have a problem if other party admits their fault etc. John

New wing would be best option for a good job. Bad luck, but at end of day no injuries which must be the best news. John

As the other party's insurer is paying insist that the repairs are done by a Land Rover approved body shop. On my iPad it looks like your tyre rim sticks out beyond the wheel arch, you also need to have the tracking checked in case the wheel has been hit too. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
